Omnistichal enigma
In this article
(Formerly known as an interstichal enigma.) Each couplet clues three part-words, sequentially: one acrostical, one diastichal, and one telestichal. (See acrostical enigma, diastichal enigma, and telestichal enigma.) In order, these part-words give the solution. Example:
OMNISTICHAL ENIGMA (16)
A. I pity you, beginning this acrostic,
Acting dense as in your cave you rant.
B. Cease raging, part with anger, fury lessen,
Lest therefore conscious thought tells you you can’t.
Can’t what? Make sense of puzzles so obtuse!
(At least it’s not about some random plant.)

The solution is incomprehensible: inc|ipit (“beginning”), c|omp|act (“dense”), ant|re (“cave”), hen|ce (“therefore”), sen|sib|le (“conscious”), cant|le (“part”).
